Just saw that also. I'm not surprised.

Yeah, I saw it too. Thanks for getting to it fast!

Just for chuckles, a reprise of my May review ...

I'm sad for them, but also not surprised.

I can't say that it surprises me, it was certainly lackluster at best. However if I remember correctly Nancy Miller from the CJ actually liked it and I believe gave it at least 3, maybe 3.5 stars!

Also not surprised.....we finally went for the first time in August, after giving more than substantial time for them to get it together. I should have known when we had no problem finding parking or a table at 6:30 on a Friday night, but we gave it a shot anyway. My margarita wasn't bad and that's the kindest thing I can say. Bad service, bad food - just bad. We left at 7:45 (again, on a Friday night) and there were only 2 tables left seated in the entire place.

Yikes. That's bad. Like the infamous, flavor of the month corner of Clifton and Frankfort, bad.

FWIW, we just got takeout from Time 4 Thai on Saturday and enjoyed it. Place was maybe half-full when I picked up our food.

Time 4 Thai is good. The curse is allegedly landlord-related rather than quality-related, so only time will tell. But I hope they stick.

I don't mean this a snark, only reality: I don't believe Ms. Miller ever gave a bad review to anyone she had featured on "Secrets" or "helped with PR."

A completely horrible evening on every account! Taco Bell would be an improvement. A solid family friendly place in the spirit of Cafe Lou Lou or North End Cafe would be great. Oh, hell, skip it, give it to the Martinez family...olè!!

They are saying a new concept is coming there - something more in line with the bourbon trail/Kentucky theme that is so prevalent. Makes sense, I suppose.

Bombs away if they try another KY Bourbon Trail thing there, that genre has jumped the shark already... With them being busy developing the spot next door, I feel like they already have a lot on their plate, not feeling optimistic for this place.

Wow. Yeah. Another bourbon concept that is completely played out and within feet of a children's playground. I've had it with the whole bourbon and meat themed everything in Louisville. Way to promote a healthy lifestyle in a city that is ravaged by poor air quality, drug addiction, tobacco use. Gag.

Not what I was hoping for.

New grab-and-go cafe coming to former Doc's Cantina's building on waterfront.

Officials said the grab-and-go café will feature items such as coffee, sandwiches, snacks, treats, beer and wine for consumption on the premises or for packaged takeout.
