This is good news -- I don't think the current incarnation's menu/execution was up to snuff, especially compared to places like Havana and Migos right next door. A return to (hopefully) quality pub fare would fill a void.

Alan hasn't been at the CQ for a couple of years now - but yes, yes he did do a phenomenal job when he was there. I spoke with him a couple of weeks ago and he mentioned that he was closing on the tavern in a couple of days - to paraphrase he said he's not planning to immediately reinvent the wheel - he said changes will come but slowly and incrementally. Hope it's a huge success.
