Kickstart for a great cause!

by Mark R. » Mon Aug 08, 2016 1:18 pm

I usually don't post things like this but I really think this is a great cause. It's to support the Hope Community Farm that's in the Iroquois neighborhood. They are trying to raise sufficient funds for a small tractor for use by their members, many of whom were in their Golden Years. The community farm is designed to provide 45 refugees from central Africa an opportunity to their African farming skills to this climate. It certainly much better cause than many other kick starters I've seen!

There re only 13 days to go and they are pretty far from their goal. We're a food community here at LHB. Surely we can help?
