Welcome to the Louisville Restaurants Forum, a civil place for the intelligent discussion of the local restaurant scene and just about any other topic related to food and drink in and around Louisville.
Too bad for them. Somehow I have a hard time applying their culinary reality with the one I just had during a weeklong stay in Lafayette, La. Somehow the pricing or quality of the Gumbo and mixed seafood platters haven't been affected yet by the wims of the la-la land of Silicon Valley a thousand miles away.
I was thinking they should come to Louisville. I think when it comes to imagination, great culinary skills and reasonable pricing, we've got it pretty good right here!

We do, and we need to be constantly aware of what's happening in places like Northern California to avoid it happening here.
