Doogy R.

by Jay M. » Wed Jul 27, 2016 9:14 pm

I saw this obituary today.

http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/louisville/obituary.aspx?n=douglas-charles-renfro&pid=180791988

Doogy was a prolific contributor here at one time and posted several times just last week. He was an avid UofL fan as evidenced by his avatar and some of his HotBytes comments. Our condolences to the family. May he rest in peace.

Wow...sad to hear this. Never got close to the guy but he WAS the first person we "broke bread" with (Wick's Pizza) when we moved to The Ville...RIP Doogy.

So sorry to hear about Doogy... I didn't know him well but sat with him at several of the old "Hotbytes Offline" events and always found him to be a very gracious person. Also, he often kept the dialog very interesting on the Forum  Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and RIP Doogy!

Wow. Very sad about this. As most, I only knew him through here and the rare offline I attended, but even so, one less light in our sign.

I only met him once, along with his mother, at an offline at Corbett's.
Rest well Doogy.
