Frankfort Ave Craft House kid friendly?

by Mike Hardin » Thu Jun 16, 2016 5:51 pm

I'd like to try this place for Father's Day but I have an almost 9 year old. Is it suitable for him?

It's loud (lots of concrete and brick), pretentious (bros sipping over-priced IPA's). The patrons that dine there look like the kind from a country club rather than residents of Crescent Hill.

Although, thinking about what's happened with property values in Crescent Hill over the last 20 years, we're starting to resemble country clubbers. Most of us don't dress the same way, though... ;)

The food was good. The beer list impressive. Not loud at all. Only one table wearing top siders and PGA polo shirts and baseball hats

Don't know but I had to google a "top sider". Learn something new everyday.

This thread has more the wiff of class warfare than a restaurant review.

You are clearly not a resident of Crescent Hill! Or a preppie. Or a denizen of the 80s.

Yeah, where are those good old days when the property values were nil and Dietrich's was a porn theater? Just can't anything nice anymore.
