Organic Winemaker Pepe Raventos Partners with Wiltshire on Market for Summer Solstice Celebration
Pepe Raventos of Raventos i Blanc, Susan Hershberg of Wiltshire on Market and executive chef and farmer Noble Holden will host a five course dinner on Monday June 20, featuring cuisine from Wiltshire on Market and wines from the Raventos property in Penedes Spain. Raventos i Blanc is a very old winery dating back to 1497. Pepe Raventos is the 10th generation of his family to lead the estate and is the grandson of Manuel Raventos, the first person to make cava, a champagne style sparkling wine from Penedes.
Chef Holden's menu, featuring his own produce, is planned to pair with the Raventos wines. Noble and his father started farming several years back with a focus on seasonal produce, native perennials and specialty garlic.
Cost is $65 per person for the five course meal with a reception beginning at 6:30.
