BROWN COUNTY HOSTS 14th ANNUAL INDIANA WINE FAIR, APRIL 30
On April 30, one of Indiana’s oldest and largest wine events will be held in Brown County. An afternoon of wine, music, food and fun, the Indiana Wine Fair returns to the Story Inn for a 14th year in a row.
From 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., guests will be able to savor complementary one-ounce pours of the state's finest wines. With dozens of participating wineries, a wide variety of wines will be on hand to sample. From refined Rieslings and Rosés to mouthwatering Malbecs and Merlots, festival-goers are sure to find a new favorite.
A true debutante party for Hoosier vintners, the Indiana Wine Fair has grown to be the largest event featuring exclusively Indiana wines. Guests also will treat more than their taste buds as they soak in the rustic charm of the historic Story Inn. Lush spring scenery and fine wine will be the perfect complement to live music, which will be ongoing throughout the day on Story’s barnyard stage.
Guitarist Chris Dollar will start off the festivities, delighting listeners with his “greengrass acousticana” sounds from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Taking the mainstage next will be the ever-popular Indiana Boys. From 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., this Americana group will be playing their own, original version of “roots music.” Rounding out the music line-up will be rising stars Bigfoot Yancey. Bringing Folk music straight out of Indianapolis, these gentlemen will dazzle guests from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Food, as well as glasses and bottles of wine, will be available for purchase throughout the afternoon too.
Admission to the festival is $30 per person for those consuming wine and only $10 for designated drivers. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend and must present an ID upon arrival. The first 4,000 people under General Admission also will receive a Story Inn keepsake wine glass. Gates open at 12:30 p.m.; wine will be poured from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. No coolers are allowed at the event, but guests are encouraged to bring chairs, umbrellas, and/or blankets.

A free shuttle service will be running from downtown Nashville (corner of Jefferson and Main Streets) to the Indiana Wine Fair the day of the event.
