Trader Joes in that spot would get a ton of business from us, certainly more than any of the alternatives I've heard.

Maybe their concept changed as they moved east? That was the way they worked in California, and I think they at least still give lip service to it. Did you ever see one in a new, purpose-built structure, though?

That's definitely plausible. I don't recall seeing one in a built-for-them structure, you're right about that.
