Chicken & Dumplings

by Adrian Baldwin » Mon Jan 07, 2008 5:12 pm

Where are some places that serve them in Louisville? Preferably in carry-out.

For some reason, that sounds good as hell to me right now, would love nothing more than to pick up a big quart on the way home.

Help Please! :D

I am quite partial to North End Cafe's rendition.

This is how the menu describes their version.

Rosemary roasted chicken with carrots, celery and onion served over dumplings.
Great food along with great company is truly one of lifes best treasures.

If you want good, old fashioned "just like Grandma used to make em" chicken-n-dumplins, Cracker Barrell is the place.

Nothin fancy, just tasty.
