I have a control problem

by Alanna H » Tue Dec 15, 2015 12:08 am

I'm eating the short rib nachos from Mussel & Burger Bar for the THIRD time in FOUR days. It is seriously my favorite dish in Louisville, and I clearly have a problem. Which will only get worse now that the downtown location has opened a block from my work.
Anybody else have a favorite meal around town that you just can't get enough of?

I know what you mean about those short rib nachos...they knocked my socks off! Honestly I can not even remember a dish (from a restaurant still open) that has impressed me as much as those did.
Myra's had wonderful soft shelled crabs, Dietrich's had a pasta with a vodka cream sauce and 3 caviars, El Mundo makes an awesome lobster bisque. It just isn't often I've been that enthused.

You are in more trouble than you think.

Guaca Mole has a version that predates Mussel and Burger's which is just as good.

I predict a visit to Guaca Mole in the near future. Oh, darn.

Very simple, but delicious app. Pork, shrimp, and just enough wasabi to make your nose tingle.

I was totally enamored with M&BB's calamari. It was perfect, but then they changed it! I was absolutely crushed. It went from one of a kind to meh. I may need therapy.
