Certainly a glowing review. My question: have you dined at the English Grill since this chef took over the reins of the kitchen?? I should add that I understand the word "hagiography".

Linda, we have eaten there a couple of times since the new chef took over one of them being Thanksgiving and I can tell you nothing has changed or if they have it have been for the better! The menu is just as well executed as it ever has been and there have been some very nice changes to it. By the way, if you go ask for Victoria as your server!

I have not, but I get regular scouting reports. I hear he is an excellent chef, but there's some sense that the Brown (like the Seelbach) has to struggle to make a four-star kitchen work financially under corporate management, regardless of the high-ticket pricing.

I should add that I understand the word "hagiography".
