"Behind Closed Ovens" has a new home and name

by Robin Garr » Tue Dec 01, 2015 11:02 am

CA Pinkham's "Behind Closed Ovens" has moved from Jezebel's Kitchenette to Wonkette and has a new name, "Off the Menu." Re-set your bookmarks!

(NB: Real stories reported by real servers and well curated and commented by Pinkham, it can be hilarious, but it can also be Eater-style mean at times. Read with judgement, but it's worth the ride.)

Always love these, no matter where they are located on the web. Very cathartic.

Yeah, the move was very sudden, and while no explanations were given, its abruptness and total erasure from the former site suggests one of those deals where security escorts you to the exit door. I figured you foodies would want to know where to find Wiley Ubertrout.

I am a Gawkerite and can share some insight! Gawker is shifting toward a more political based news site and shuttered a lot of their sub blogs, Kitchenette included. BCO is dead, long live BCO!
