It looks like Gannett reached outside the CJ and outside the corporation to bring in a new food editor: Pableaux Johnson, who just came to Louisville from New Orleans, dropped me a nice note to let me know that he's taking over the post. Seems like a nice guy, and he's apparently new to Gannett.
Pableaux says he was a freelance writer in New Orleans, doing features, cookbook work and restaurant criticism.
It'll be interesting to see what he does with the paper's food and dining coverage under Gannett's administration and budget ... I look forward to getting to know him.
