New seafood restaurant

by Mark R. » Mon Oct 26, 2015 4:03 pm

According to this morning's business 1st is going to be new seafood restaurant in town called Seafood Lady, which previously has been a food truck locally (I haven't tried it yet). Here's their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/seafoodlady502 ... =page_info their website isn't up yet but according to it they are going to be takeout only I'm not sure if the word restaurant is really correct. People certainly need some more seafood places so hopefully this will be the start of a new trend.

I drove by the address, and it appears the food truck is simply parked there. The pictures of the food look terrific!

Well, as has been announced in SEVERAL threads on several sites, John Varanese is in the process of opening River House, which is reported to be Seafood heavy with a local twist...

Just sayin'

Cheers!

Now, I'm curious.

What's a "local twist" on seafood? (or anything for that matter?)

It's like the regular version, but with some bottles of bourbon on the wall behind the bar.
