Avalon

Going to Avalon for a post Christmas lunch this Saturday. I have never been there before. Any suggestions on what to have?

I just got an email from Avalon. They are continuing a special for this weekend of $5 specialty martinis and $5 appetizers for dining guests (I assume this means you must order an entree and not just the appetizers). I have had the burger on the lunch menu and I remember it to be good. There was a fish sandwich that I wanted more, but they were going to have to serve it on rye, and that is not my favorite, so I went with the burger.

FYI- Had our lunch today. Went with the Basa fish sandwich. It was great! Really liked the tater sauce. Someone in the group ordered the burger. She loved it! Said it was the best she's ever had. It did look yummy. The staff was great, very accommodating. Will definitely return!

Thanks for posting this thread. Now you've all got me wanting their burger with the sweet potato fries and their lobster mac. We were already kicking them around for Valentine's day. I just don't know if I am willing to wait that long.
