Start the new year with a party at Westport General Store!

by Robin Garr » Thu Jan 03, 2008 1:20 pm

This announcement just in ... that warm stove out at Will's place sounds just right for these cold winter nights!

Start the new year off with a party. Dozens of Dollars String Band will be
playing at Westport General Store Saturday, January 5th from 6:30 to close. They have
a unique roots music sound and the Wood burning stove will be on to keep you
nice & cozy.

Specials: Black and Blue Bison Steak- blackened locally grown bison rib eye
toped with blue cheese crumbles served with mash potatoes and vegetables.
Trout Almandine served with vegetables and rice.
Vegan Black-eyed pea stew over rice.

Call 222 4626 for reservations.

Thanks Robin for posting.

Roger I will give you a free steak if you come out and drink a bud with me. Of course there will be a hidden camera.

Cheers

Thanks, but no thanks; me thinks I'll break out the stale mixed nuts for this bottle of Rodenbach Grand Cru I've been saving.

Just as seriously, I'd love to and have wanted to for quite some time (I have a friend who lives nearby and it would be a good pretext to drop in and visit).

Is it okay if I bring Clancy ... when there's a chance to come?

Roger we had a great time as always last night at Richos. the pizza was amazing and beer choices were plentiful. We just have to find a bigger building for all this to go on in. It was packed the whole night.

Prost!

I'm in!!! ( and quite broke too so if your buying the Pappy's and BBC Willie, you can count me in!). Sounds like a great way to bury the hatchet (or body(s) once and for all!..........

Suits me. I owe Clancy a steak in honor of the good times, and we need him there to mediate.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza. D Barry

C'mon Willie ( Damn, I even wore the cheerleader outfit for ya!) How quickly you forget. I feel so cheap now.....Name a day and I'll be there with Roger in tow (I'll hide a Miller in my jacket and we'll do paper/rock/scissors to see who drinks it. Might not count as "mediation" but at least it would be Democratic) LOL
