Help! Name of old German restaurant on Bardstown Road

An old friend returned to Louisville and in our reminiscences got to the restaurant that used to be across the street from the Bard Theatre. Aging minds need help!

You guys! I love this forum!

I'm drawing a blank on Gruber's myself. Can one of you fill us in on its (approximate) era? I can recall when Lentini's replaced Highland Italian, so that's going back quite a way, but Gruber's I don't recall. Maybe my family just didn't go there.
