I love Selena's . Big fan here. I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal there. But this review, as so many of her other reviews, just leave me thinking ," Mehhh. Maybe sometime." It's a dull, flat review that isn't that interesting or informative. Just kinda, "this was good, and this was good and this was OK and I liked that. "

Once again I got terribly confused by her star rating and her review. She really didn't find anything to knock during her whole review with the possible exception that the shrimp maybe should've come out sooner. She's found many more things not to like at restaurants and given them a higher rating of 4 stars. I've given up using her reviews as a deciding factor about eating anyplace and rather just look forward to seeing them for the comedy of it!
Of course the fact that she didn't even bother trying the Bread Pudding which we feel is one of the best desserts in all of Louisville could have also swayed her rating.
Well, to her credit, we can say that the current critic is carrying on the tradition of the CJ in the 2000s, under Gannett's leadership. She reminds me quite a bit of Susan; not so much of Marty, although even there I could argue for some commonality ...
