My in-laws went to the O'Charley's located at Breckenridge Ln by Home Depot and said it was closed due to some violation. They didn't really know anything about what the violation was, but this was about 6 pm this evening.

Maybe they finally shut them down for extremely substandard service. That's all I've ever gotten there...

Sounds like probably a "critical violation" on a sanitation inspection that could not be corrected immediately ... if a "C" appears in the next few days, that will pretty much nail that down.
