Welcome to the Louisville Restaurants Forum, a civil place for the intelligent discussion of the local restaurant scene and just about any other topic related to food and drink in and around Louisville.
Did anything substantive change with the Aztecas family of restaurants, other than the name, when they became Ramiro's Cantina, Me Gusta, and Cucina Mama?
Disassembling a small local chain into independents, I think. Still of a generic type, but I'd expect individual variations. (In other words, I haven't actually checked that out. )
I don't think a restaurant deserves three stars, with only one server and no management in sight. One star. I might not go back for that reason - too many choices out there. Service is almost everything. And not blaming the server. I would probably tip extra and not return. Was in that situation (only server) once 35+ years ago. Still have nightmares
In fairness to the current incumbent, her Gannett-era predecessors, Marty and Susan, also frequently issued a rating that didn't seem to match the words. (Who knows, maybe I do, too! )
