Between Here and There

I wonder why this wouldn't be noted in the Courier's article?

Isn't that kinda what buffalo wings ARE? I mean, the only things that set one apart from another are price and sauce. Maybe there are places in town doing never-frozen wings, but I'm hard-pressed to say where or what difference it'd make in taste.

Ever tried Momma's Pickles and Mustard's wings? They make them from the butchered wings of all the smoked chicken they sell, so limited quantity (though I suspect at this point they are so popular that they must be supplementing with some kind of pre-fab), and they are definitely not run-of-the-mill frozen. The owner is so proud of them that sometimes one will wind up on your bbq plate just to entice! I am a-ok with frozen wings, but I have to say these really knock any I've had out of the park.
