Bodega Benegas Wine Dinner July 21 at Bistro 1860

Don Tiburcio Benegas Lynch founded what would become Bodega Benegas in 1883. Bringing over some of the very first vine cuttings from France and Italy, Don Tiburcio ensured that Bodega Benegas would today have some of the oldest vines in the world, many over a century in age. Fast forward to 1999 when his great grandson, Federico Benegas, revitalized the winery and created the Benegas brand we know today, operating out of an updated 19th century winery.
