Like several other posters I have used the certificates several places in the past , and really like them. However, I just purchased a number of certificates, and in printing them the terms of use/ minimum on the certificates are SIGNIFICANTLY different than the terms showing up on the restaurant/purchase page you are shown when selecting your certificates.
For example, the Carly Rae's terms on the selection page state: "Valid with a minimum purchase of 2 entrees & 1 appetizer. Excludes alcohol, tax & tips". But the statement on my purchased $75 certificate is: "Valid with minimum purchase of $150" ! ! The same concept is true of my certificate to Rock Wall Bistro.
Needless to say, I'm a bit upset at this lack of truth in advertising. I'm sure this is a restaurant.com issue, not a local restaurant issue. But I would not have purchased these particular certificates if the terms on the certificate were as printed: I'm not sure that my family of 3 plus toddler could even spend $150 at Carly's Raes (which I know is reasonably priced) if we tried.
Just wanted to put out a warning to others until this gets fixed.
