'Dave and Buster's on steroids' coming to Blankenbaker Stn.

by Steve P » Thu Jun 18, 2015 6:29 pm

Sounds kinda cool...I'm sure we'll be dusting off the bowling balls.

According to an online fact sheet about the company, Main Event Entertainment is a "bowling-anchored entertainment center that also features a laser tag arena, billiards, a gallery with virtual and interactive games, in-store dining and a full bar housing premium liquors, wine and domestic and local beers on tap. Select locations also have gravity ropes, rock climbing, mini golf, bocce ball and karaoke."

I hope they succeed, but the overhead would give me cause for concern.

It will be also interesting to see how they control the kids from running wild in the facility!

Well, if it's like D&Bs, you get carded when you go in and anybody underage has to be with an adult. And the bar is a main focal point. It's no Chuck E. Cheese's for sure. ;) Perhaps an adult version.

Sounds like fun! I have been wishing for a D&B around here for a long time. I love playing games but there's a reason I don't have children.

I'm looking forward to this. We just went to a Dave and Busters in Florida and it was really cool. Didn't eat there, I'm sure the food is mediocre, but the arcade was awesome.

This will be a nice place to take the kids and to some fun stuff all in one place. Or, if you don't like kids, I'm sure its mostly adult oriented when it gets late.
