Highland closings

In addition to KFC-11, the DQ at Mid-City Mall and Uncle Maddio's Pizza have also closed. I wonder if Maddio's fell victim to Mellow Mushroom? I don't really like pizza, but what I had there was pretty good and they always seemed to have a good crowd. I admit it's been a while since I've been there, though.
(I was almost going to mention Rumplings, but gave them a reprieve because I didn't want to keep them in company with KFC or DQ. And obviously their situation is completely different.)

As far as Uncle Maddio's goes I read that the building has been sold and something else is going in there and that they were forced to leave the building.

Sounds good! I'm really glad to see another restaurant going in there.

Stout Burgers should be open very soon. Net to Louvinos. The beer/burgers mneu looks awesome.
