Seafood tower

by Adam C » Thu May 28, 2015 3:27 pm

I see these pictures of "seafood towers" with about three tiers with a sampling of all sorts of seafood porn. Don't make me drive to Nashville or the coast. Where can I find one in Louisville? Help!

I had one of these at Manny's steakhouse in Minneapolis. It was $200 bucks. :?

I don't know that I have seen anywhere in Louisville that serves them. I thought maybe Jeff Rubys but I just checked the menu and didn't see that on there.

I'm afraid a Chinese buffet on Crab Legs Night is about as close as you're going to get to that within 200 miles of here.

Check out Eddie Merlot's . . . some of their locations do it, and I don't remember if Louisville does or not. Also, Jeff Ruby's may do one (again some in Cincy have it). You can call Morton's or Ruth's Criss, but I don't think they do.

Forget Louisville. Buy a ticket to Bordeaux, drive 30 min to the coast to the amazing town of Arcachon. Fresh mollusks from local beds. Huge platters of the best seafood ever. Beautiful coast. All the women on the beach are topless.

I was going to make a similar suggestion for "any restaurant in Portugal."

No thanks. I prefer my road trips shorter and drier.

Rivue has a seafood for two that looks like that. King crab legs, oysters, shrimp. Saw one going to another table whe we were there for our anniversary and it was HUGE! Listed as "market price".
