News release just in from Against The Grain (AtG)

We’ve got a new menu!
Chef Jordan Delewis rights the good ship BBQ.

Against The Grain Brewery, Louisville’s premier microbrewery and BBQ joint has unleashed a new everyday menu for the summer! The new menu, created by Chef Jordan Delewis, features a more traditional approach to BBQ than we have ever offered. While we retain our quirky approach to offering fresh vegetarian BBQ options, Chef Jordan has put an emphasis on our smoked meats!

We will continue to offer our delicious Hardwood Smoked Brisket, Memphis style Pulled Pork, Beer Can Chicken, and our signature, Pork Belly On A Stick. However, with the added focus on our smoked meats, we are adding:

Spare Ribs served wet with our housemade BBQ sauce.
Rib Tips served wet with our house hot BBQ sauce.
Housemade Smoked Sausage by the link or on a bun. &
Smoked Country Ham and Cheese sandwich.

In addition to the focus on smoked meat, we are also adding some unique bar snacks to go with our world class beer and spirits selection. We are adding:

Homemade Pimento Cheese and Cornbread Hoe-cakes.
Our own Bacon Caramel Popcorn.
Housemade BBQ Beef Jerky
Cornbread Panzenella

Save not for the sweet tooth! We have partnered with our favorite doughnut makers in Louisville, Hi-Five Doughnuts, for our dessert options! The lovely ladies of Hi-Five have taken AtG beer and created the most delicious confections a doughnut lover could love! Make sure you finish a meal off with either Hi-Five Doughnut Holes with AtG Beer Custard or a Bacon Glazed Donut with House cured Bacon!

Last but not least, we’re excited to announce a few of our craft cocktail program updates! Over the last year, AtG barkeeps have been busy improving their acumen behind the bar. We have 12 official Bourbon Stewards from the Stave and Thief Society, as well as boasting nearly 100% completion of the Southern Wine and Spirits Academy of Spirits and Fine Service. We will be offering our latest and award winning Smokehouse Bloody Mary, which is sure to liven up your palette! We are also including a whole new list of cocktails created by our well trained team. Look for one of our latest and greatest, The Old Fashioned Experience, which features locally made brandy from Copper and Kings and house made ‘Old Fashioned’ infused ice balls!
