Red Pepper building?

This is probably way premature, but I noticed this morning that the For Sale/Lease sign is gone from the building where Red Pepper used to be on Brownsboro Rd.

Anybody know if it's been taken? It would be great to have that spot filled again.

Beats me, but I go by there fairly regularly too, and will also keep an eye out.

Conventional wisdom is that the owner, an anesthesiologist who opened the original Indian restaurant in the building back in the late '80s, has "somewhat unrealistic expectations" as to the building's worth and an appropriate lease level, and this makes it hard for a restaurant tenant to make the numbers work.
