I heard that the Rumplings guys were looking into this. Meanwhile, I'd start with the usual suspects: Koreana II, Lee's or Charim over where Sears used to be.

I can't testify to the authentic Korean fried chix, but you might give the above a call.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist here, unfortunately.

Charim in St Matthews has wings which are excellent, they offer two kinds of Korean sauce.

Milkwood I believe has had Korean wings as an appetizer . . . now the menu mentions fried chicken & waffles, but for some reason I think those are very similar to Korean-style?

I just noticed that there is a new Korean place opening soon in the old Ce Fiore spot on Eastern Pkwy near Bardstown (next to QDoba) called Sarang. Their flyer advertises a fried chicken dish, but I have no idea if this is what you are after. The picture made it look like it was fried pieces, sort of like what General Tso's chicken looks like. Their menu is a little, well, unique in the sense that there is no kimchee to be found anywhere. I may be guilty of stereotyping, but Korean without kimchee just sounds incomplete. It looks their intent is to be mostly takeout with a very small menu that focuses on lighter fare. Which, again, I found rather odd since they had fried chicken on the menu as well. The looked like they should be opening soon.
