Nashville hot fried chicken!

Manny & Merle is celebrating its second anniversary with a major menu and restaurant expansion.

Tomorrow (March 24), Louisville’s Whiskey Row Honky Tonk will add 10 new menu items with a Southern/Soul Twist. These additions include Mighty Fine Hot Chicken, a Nashville style fried chicken (4 heat levels available); a Dixie Chicken Sandwich, and homemade Mac n Cheese crocks. Skillet Cornbread and Bacon Picks (a hand-cut bacon treat on a stick) are also part of the fun. The bar menu will also be updated and expanded featuring more local craft beer.

“We’ve had a great two years and we want to keep it going by adding more exciting food and drink options.” explained Founder and CEO Tony Palombino. “We will keep all of the current food and drink fan favorites like our Green Chili Tacos and Mannyritas.”

Manny & Merle will also take over the barber shop next door this fall and add 80 more seats, a larger live music stage and a private party room. Live music will continue on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and Wednesday’s popular singer & songwriter open mic will also

“Our celebration is all about more Honky Tonk fun,” said Palombino. “More great food, more of our amazing bourbon and tequila collection, and more of the best live local music.”
