Yoli's Cafeteria

by Gary Guss » Wed Mar 18, 2015 3:32 pm

This is a new cuban place that opened up this week, where the old Tangerine Restaurant was on Woodlawn in Beechmont.. 328 West Woodlawn or a couple of doors up from Annies and Sunergos for people that don't use the "old Sears Building" form of GPS. The menu changes each day, they have fried plantains, Ropa Vieja, Cubano Sandwiches, a couple of kinds of Frijoles, Congris, and some various kinds of other dishes like Pescado Apporiado.. Great portions, friendly manager who speaks fluent english and very nice people. They take credit cards, can park on street in front or they have a small parking lot in back. They are also open for breakfast. Give them a shot, it's like visiting a cuban home.

GG.

Whoa! I live a few doors down on Woodlawn.

Is this the same place that has the sign "International Restaurant", that previously looked to be some type of Ethiopian cuisine with pictures of Injera & stuff in the window?

Can't wait to try this.

This place is getting a great buzz from lots of people in the neighborhood, menu changes a little each day, although they always have a cubano sandwich, congris, and plantains. Huge portions, friendly manager and good food. Give it a try! 328 Woodlawn.. it's only 13,235 Garrs from the prime meridian..

That's going to be a tough call. Turn right or turn left?

I went the other day and I liked it! $8 for a big plate of ropa vieja, fried plantains, yuca and congris. Nice addition to the neighborhood, hope it lasts.
