Spanish wood-fired bbq marks Decca's 3rd anniversary

by Robin Garr » Tue Mar 10, 2015 4:42 pm

On Sunday, March 15 from 3-7pm to celebrate Decca’s 3-year anniversary, Chef Annie Pettry is hosting a Spanish Wood-Fired BBQ cooked outdoors on the restaurant’s beautiful patio (photos below, flyer attached) with Chef Elliott Moss. Chef Moss of the hotly anticipated upcoming Buxton Hall BBQ in Asheville, NC is driving his BBQ rig up for the event—and bringing some of his hand made Smoked Chorizo and Blood Sausages to throw on the wood grill. Other highlights include:

· Spanish inflected dishes straight off the grill (I’ll have examples shortly)

· Dry Aged Ham Carving Station: Jay Denham Woodlands Pork

· Cheese Table: Kenny's Cheese w/ accompaniments by Decca

· Pop-up Bar w/MG Road in Asheville, NC, hosted by Copper & Kings

· Live Music and DJ Sets: Jonathan Glen Wood • Fauna • Troye Powers

$20 entry buys all-you-can-eat and 2 drink tickets! Purchase here: http://www.opentable.com/decca (select March 15, 3pm).

We've got a reservation!

One of the best patios in town with what sounds like a killer menu, bar, and entertainment. Weather is supposed to be great and we are really looking forward to this.

Opentable.com is acting a little funky for this event and had to call the restaurant, but she got the reservation to go after a couple of attempts.

That was a great event!

It was a perfect day and they were packed. The staff handled it beautifully. I'm not sure they could be any happier about how it all worked out.
