Shady Lane Cafe Open Tomorrow

by Susanne Smith » Wed Mar 04, 2015 8:38 pm

Dear Folks, We will attempt to open tomorrow for the brave folks out in the weather. Pass the word, and check our Facebook page in the morning just to make sure. Also we got a full page (free) ad in the CJ yesterday for the new Cooks Corner Recipe App. Very Cool. It read, " Want to make a soup as good as Shady Lane's Mushroom Soup?" Check out the new Cooks Corner App. A full page pic of our Mushroom Soup!! Anyway, be safe and come by for some Chili and a fabulous Burger tomorrow. WE HOPE.

Then again.....maybe call first. Check here or our Facebook page. Drove around the neighborhood, powdery, dry, not that bad to drive in except for those pesky hills, or roads yet to be plowed. They are trying their best here in St. Mathews. I would sweep the car once before morning, to make it easier if you just have to go out.. Be safe.

So, what did you decide, Bill? My little car is snowed in up to the middle of the doors, so I don't think I'm going anywhere today. Fortunately, I don't have to.

Robin and gang. We decided at the last moment to open and were pleasantly surprised at the amount of business. Having the liquor store next door and the hardware at the other end, certainly helps. Sorry I didn't get back to the formites.
