It's still Fat Tuesday at Cafe Lou Lou!

by Marsha L. » Tue Feb 17, 2015 9:47 am

Despite the snow, both Cafe Lou Lou locations are open today for lunch and dinner!

On the menu:

Red Beans and Rice
Pasta Jambalaya with smoked chicken, smoked sausage, crawfish and shrimp
Classic File Gumbo over Rice
Crawfish Etouffe
Muffuletta Sandwich with ham, Genoa salami and provolone, with house-made olive salad

Plus (of course!) all of our signature pizzas, pastas and wings.

And don't forget my desserts! Lemon Sunshine Cake, three flavors of Creme Brulee, Mile-High Peanut Butter Pie, Classic New Orleans Bread Pudding with Bourbon Caramel sauce, and a gluten-free dessert special of Flourless Chocolate Torte with Raspberry Coulis and fresh raspberries.

Laissez les bons temps rouler!

No way would I forget your desserts. Always great.

Any of this left for Wed night?
We had a concert to go to last night.

Thanks Steve, and other Steve, too.

Doug, I'm still at home but I'll check and get back to you this afternoon.

After some texting back-and-forth, sounds like the red beans and rice are all gone, still some etouffe left, a few orders of crab and corn fritters, and bread pudding's wiped out but there's still some chocolate torte. Of course, we have pasta jambalaya on the regular menu along with gumbo, so you can get those any day - along with our cheeseburger/sausage po'boy.

Thanks! Sorry I missed out on your lemon cake and the bread pudding though.
