Always lots of good fish frys during Lent, and as Doogy and Alton Brown would say . . . good eats!

I haven't been able to post it on the forum or on LouisvilleHotBytes on dial-up from Italy, but we did a fish-fry thingie in LEO this week, too.

Here's a link ... got a fast connection, so I'll link here and put it on the front page later:

I saw the LEO article and thought about posting it, but I didn't want to step on anyone's toes. :D

It was interesting to note that you both mentioned how a fish fry for Lent is hardly a sacrifice or penance. I have to agree. Fried fish, all the yummy sides, tasty sweets and maybe even beer.

Fish Fiy....

by Dan Thomas » Sat Mar 24, 2007 2:01 am

There is no need to worry once Lent is over. St Paul's Episcopal Church on Market St. in Downtown Jeffersonville offers a fine fish fry on the first Friday of every month. It's only a block from the river. You can get it to go and walk down and enjoy a tasty fish sandwich and check out the river goings on!
