CJ: 3 1/2 stars for Loop 22

The CJ reviews Loop 22 today. I like that restaurant and am glad to see that the Gannett metro paper's reviewer does, too.

Interesting they mention the service being solid. We went when they first opened and a few times to try to give them a fair shake. Consistently got the feeling that we were wrecking the server's day by being there. Three different servers, all the same attitude and my family laughed that they must train them to act that way as "part of the new cruelty"

Really wanted to love that place, so if they've fixed their service issues I'll definitely be back soon

I really wanted to like this place, but just couldn't for a variety of reasons. Maybe time to try again.

We've been 5-6 times and always had great food and service.

Once I got past a little (friendly) rant about the merits of cooking veggies too long versus not long enough, I really liked Loop 22 a lot in my May 14, 2014 review.
