Brasserie Provence

by Gayle DeM » Mon Jan 19, 2015 12:58 pm

BP is one of my favorite restaurants. I am a big fan of the French Onion Soup which I often say is better than any I have had when in Provence. Thus I just have to share the Facebook post of one of my house guests who spent the week-end with me. (Up until three years ago he spent six weeks or so every spring in France.)

For lunch we went to an amazing French restaurant; the Brasserie Provence was spectacular. We had the best onion soup we've ever had, by far--all of France (and my own) included, and a stupendous lamb sausage sandwich. What a wonderful restaurant and day.

I've been happy on both of two visits.

Funny: They recently put up new signage with the sub-title "A French Restaurant" added. They'd been getting people walking in looking for lingerie!

Oh, I do, I do, Jeff!

I also love the beignet's which are more akin to vegetable ala tempura rather than doughnuts.
