Well, I know we are late to the party but we finally got around to trying this place. My friends had had been without any meat meals while their vegan kids were in town. Dad was snarling for some red meat. This seemed to be the appropriate place.
We did a Saturday lunch reasoning that if we would be eating indoors around others perhaps the slowest time of the week might be our best idea. It worked, there were only 3 other tables.
In addition to the usual stuff the salad bar included chilled asparagus and lovely large slices of lox and some chilled shrimp. Also some marble sized red, pickled onions that were fantastic! Sneeze guards were in place and disposable plastic gloves were made available for your hands while serving yourself. We all felt reasonably safe.
We sampled all the meats, each of us had our own favorites. The filet mignon, chicken wrapped in bacon, top steak were each expertly cooked although pretty pedestrian. I thought the unsauced pork rib had a great rub on it and was a nice variation from whats found at most bbq places. My friends gave the teriyaki chicken very high marks as well as the lamb. (Lamb STILL tasted like a closet to me, but thats just me.) But the clear winner that we all loved, nay, swooned over, was the Picanha. My friend said she could not figure out what gave it its distinctive flavor. I can't swear to it but I think its just fat. Slow roasting with an in tact fat casing. It was divine.
Excellent service by mask wearing servers with 3 non alcoholic drinks and two Brazillian coffees afterwards + 25% tip brought the total to $210.
