Ashley, welcome to the forum! Baxter is a highly competitive zone, and as I try to visualize the strip, I can't think of many open places. I'm not sure what's up at Papalino's location ... I had heard that Fernando Martinez was thinking about bringing in an arepas spot there, but then I heard he wasn't. Might be something to look at ...

Ashley,

Is there a particular reason you want to put a restaurant in the most congested and competitive area in Louisville? Are you open to other areas? What kind of restaurant?

While not on Baxter, the old laundromat by the corner of Cherokee Rd. and Baxter by Broadway across fro the entrance to Cave Hill is still sitting there. I'm sure rent is steep as there is coveted off street parking in the back of the building.

Ashley,
I have an idea for a concept but no restaurant experience. PM me - we might be a good fit. I've been looking at spaces for a while so can tell you what I know.
