It would be excellent to get the Blind Pig back in some form, but I have to wonder about that level of investment in a "remodel" of a place that was significantly rehabbed before its original opening just four years ago.

Any info on who's behind it? Newcomers to the local scene, or well-known eats-industry folks? I'm not seeing Bobby Flay in this ...

permits pulled by HOLDINGS LLC SP, PO BOX 7408, LOUISVILLE, KY 40257. Looks like the rear wall had to be removed and rebuilt. Another permit pulled for all new lighting. KY Secretary of State website doesn't provide an exact match on the company name, but gets close.

I can attest to the truth of the rear wall being completely removed though because my office is within view and a few weeks ago the did indeed have the entire rear wall off the building.

Yeah, we are right across the street and they have been going nuts over there for months. Are we 100% it will be a restaurant?

The permits say it for a restaurant.

Unless something has changed, it's Peyton! Good for him. The space used to be a grocery who's name I can't remember and he (in the past) was going to play off of that. Remains to be seen. But good for him.
