Hedge funds say Olive Garden portions too large? ;)

by Robin Garr » Mon Dec 22, 2014 1:42 pm

“A hedge fund says Olive Garden is mismanaged, and ... has prioritized food quantity over quality.” Well, yeah! But investors rarely think in the consumer’s interest, so what’s going on here?

Isn't any sized portion of Olive Garden food too large?

I ate at an Olive Garden once when I flew into Cleveland at 10:30 p.m., and it was open and close to my hotel. I survived the experience, but it was profoundly un-memorable.

Even their salad, bread sticks and soup which used to be decent are not as good as they used to be. Filling is about the only thing you can say about a meal at Olive Garden and now they want to get rid of that?
