Lou Orleans

by James Natsis » Fri Dec 12, 2014 9:59 pm

I was told this evening that there is a place called Lou Orleans around 5th and M. Ali downtown. He said they have a daily cajun buffet for lunch. Any reports out there?

That's funny, James. I posted about it on the HotBytes Facebook page, and I sure thought I posted it here, too. Anyway, I'll put their lunch poster below. Also, here is their Facebook page:

Thanks, Robin. Sounds like a winning concept for the area.

Never been here, but as someone who lived in New Orleans for many years I'm not quite sure what to make of the growing number of Big Easy-themed restaurants. Although some are great, I'm always a tad disappointed. I suppose it's the same with any regional food; it's never quite as good as when you eat it where it lives.

I haven't lived in New Orleans I agree with this sentiment.
