I also read that article this morning and had a good laugh about it! As soon as I saw the title I knew what state it had to be filed in. Considering there is no official definition of what "Handmade" entails I'm betting the lawsuit won't go very far but then again it is California! They did agree with the lawsuit for not having sprouts on your sandwiches! :mrgreen:

Ha! It isn't handmade because a pipe delivers mash to the fermentation vat.

They ought to be transferring that mash WITH THEIR HANDS.

There could be a lot of craft brewers with this liability problem. Are pipes considered craft?
