New Albany Gem

by Mike D » Sun Nov 30, 2014 12:53 pm

We ventured across the river this morning to Bread and Breakfast in downtown New Albany. Our foursome (including two very picky, overly-critical diners) proclaimed everything outstanding. Among the four of us we sampled pretty much the entire menu - eggs, bacon, home fries, french toast, biscuits and gravy (both sausage and vegetarian), killer cinnamon rolls, a breakfast panini, a perfectly-prepared omelet and excellent coffee. Lots of locally-sourced items on the menu.

I'm glad somebody else found it! We've been there a couple of times and have really enjoyed it. It's a very friendly place with wonderful bread and great food. It's a little off the beaten path so you have to look for it but when you find it it's great. They seem to have a pretty good following, especially for the bread they sell.
