I would say that for those who don't want an industrial bird pumped full of antibiotics and water, $5/pound is a fair price to pay. Buyer's choice, ya know?

Buyers choice indeed. Just seems a bit high ...even for a happy turkey. There would be a lot more demand for these products if those in the supply line did not gouge all down the line. The this product would become the standard.

5 bucks a pound ??? ...........That's just plain laughable. Next year order a fresh free range Amish bird from Crestwood Meats (502) 243 9933. I'm pretty sure the Amish don't tuck them in at night or read them a bedtime story but they are none the less damn fine free range birds...at a mere 2.39 a pound.
