A popular Southern-inspired French restaurant in the NuLu area is closing.
La Coop: Bistro à Vins, at 732 E. Market St., will close after a New Year's Eve celebration on Wednesday, Dec. 31.

The decision came down to the fact that Falls City Hospitality Group, the restaurant management group that owns La Coop, has a number of large projects, said Brett Davis, managing partner at Falls City Hospitality Group, formerly known as DC Management Corp.

Business first just released a story saying that they are closing after their New Year's Eve celebration! According to the release they are closing because the parent company has too many other projects. Sounds a little strange to me but....

Thickest, juiciest and most succulent pork chop ever! The next deep space probe should have one of these to define the word savory to potential extraterrestrials This is a restaurant that is justified in not having pepper or salt shakers on the table.

If you haven't had one, I encourage you to get one before the closing. Oh, and the escargot is very nice.
