Highlands restaurant news

by Alanna H » Mon Nov 10, 2014 7:48 pm

In addition to Rumplings opening in the space formerly occupied by Baby D's, here are some other restaurant happenings I've noticed in the neighborhood this week.

(As previously posted,) Brownie's The Shed is moving into the old Philly Steak & Burger on Bardstown near Bonnycastle.

Eat-a-Pita has moved into the old Zaytun's building.

Hillbilly Tea has opened what looks like a walk-up window in the spot previously occupied by- I think- a hot dog place in the strip at Baxter and Highland Ave.

They've been open for several months, but a bar called Time & Space opened in the old Highlands Tap Room location, across from Mid-City Mall.

Rumplings didn't play around. I saw them in there working on the space two weeks ago, and now BAM they are open. Can't wait to try!

I'm beyond excited to try them. I just need a "kid free" night. Like now.
