Robin close this thread.......it is clearly obvious that it was brought up to spew venom elsewhere.

Hey Evan I will give it another try.... I really loved JICAMA so maybe I'm a little bias. Maybe I'll check out the one on Goose Creek Rd next time.

Honestly, this entire posting should be completely removed, not just locked.

I appears, quite obviously, to be a drive by shooting.

"Mike G" and "Evan G" both joined in the last two days and managed to post within two minutes of each other about their feelings regarding Seviche.

Seviche is AMAZING and remains my FAVORITE restaurant in the 'ville.

MERRY CHRISTMAS ANTHONY!!!! SEVICHE IS AWESOME! :D

Yeah, the food was so much better back when Anthony Lamas was the chef.

I was kidding. Same chef at Jicama as at Seviche. Hence, difficulty believing that food was so much better when it was Jicama. It's same food.

Sounds to me like your trying to discredit my opinion!!! I know what I ate and it wasn't that good as I stated before. I liked my food there years ago when it was JICAMA,but my dinner at SEVICHE was not as good. I however will always give a place a second chance as I will SEVICHE....everyplace (and that's all restaurants in LOUISVILLE ) have a bad night every once in awhile...I guess I just was there at the wrong time.

Your opinion has been discredited. You posted a vague, negative comment which makes it appear that you do not know what you are talking about. I believe you are the same guy who was offended by the negative comments in regards to a certain mexican restaurant. Now you post an unjustified negative comment about one of best restaurants in this city. In the hope of sounding credible, be more specific about your meal. Instead of talking about the "food" you had at Jicama and the alleged "food" you had at Seviche, be a little more specific about your experience. "Off nights" are something I have never experienced at Seviche and I have eaten there a number of times.

Just for the record I had BISTEC DE CASA my eggs were over done and I had the SPICY CHICKEN EMPANADAS which were excellent. The wait staff was very good & ADAM made me one of the best martinis ever. I certainly wasn't bashing anything like some of you other people like to do so please quit trying to stir up things with new members. I'm sure that Robin would like all his new members to feel comfortable. I haven't bashed anybodys place or reputation on here unlike some others. I even told of my love for JICAMA when it was around

Not at all. You are absolutely entitled to your opinion that the food prepared under chef Anthony Lamas was better then the food prepared under chef Anthony Lamas.
