Gralehaus adds "diner-inspired" dinner menu

by Robin Garr » Wed Oct 29, 2014 2:36 pm

RALEHAUS ADDS NEW ‘DINER INSPIRED’ DINNER MENU 4 DAYS A WEEK!

Gralehaus is excited to announce that it’s serving more than just breakfast and lunch!

Starting Saturday, Nov. 1, gralehaus will be open for dinner Wednesday through Saturday night from 5-10 p.m. Executive Chef Andy Myers has created a “southern- style diner” inspired dinner menu featuring items such as Kentucky Cassoulet, Burgoo, Chicken-Fried Rabbit, Hausmade Sausages, Kentucky Country Ham and Pimento Grilled Cheese, a “Diner Burger” and Chess Pie. Item prices will range from $7-$14. Menu items will change seasonally and feature locally sourced foods, as well as include weekly specials:

Wednesdays - Burger & Shake Night $12
includes one “haus” diner burger and milkshake

Thursdays - Veggie for the Weekend MKT
featuring a new seasonal vegetarian dish each week

Fridays - Fish Frydays MKT
featuring a fresh fish special each week

Saturdays - Meat & Three (or Four) MKT
your choice: a meat dish & three sides or four sides & no meat

In addition to our new food menu, “soda fountain-inspired” beverages join an already exciting and innovative beverage menu designed by Bar Manager, Leslee Macpherson. Milkshakes, eggcreams, and floats (featuring JD’s Country Milk) will be created with “hausmade” syrups and sodas, as well as feature Intellgentsia espresso and various craft beers.

About gralehaus: Opened in February 2014, gralehaus, Holy Grale’s sister restaurant, is located directly behind Holy Grale and shares its outdoor dining area, the gralegarten. Gralehaus has limited dine-in seating (24 seats total) and offers counter service. Carry out is available; reservations are not accepted at this time, seating is first come, first serve.

This is super. Consistently some of the best food in town comes from the two Grales.

Kentucky Cassoulet?.....hum....makes me wonder what a "hamburger a la francaise" may entail. Or perhaps a "White Castle Slider Mignon."....................kidding aside, based on my experience with the frites and beer at the Gralehaus it will all be good.

Andy Myer's food is consistently some of the very best in town. So glad to hear this- brunch doesn't really work for our family and we will be so happy to enjoy Andy's food for dinner again.
